Kimberly Lock
is passionate about plants! She has been designing,
installing, and maintaining garden landscapes for residential clients
since 2003. She is a member of The
Pennsylvania Horticulture Society (PHS), and recipient of several PHS
awards for outstanding garden design and maintenance of her residential
garden in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Currently, her garden is being
photographed for entry into the Smithsonian Institution’s Archives of
American Gardens. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Horticulture
from Temple University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. While attending
Temple University, Kimberly served as President of the Landscape
Architecture and Horticulture Student Association, President and
Vice-President of Pi Alpha Xi National Honor Society for Horticulture
students, a student ambassador, representative of student government,
and member of the Horticulture Marketing Committee.

Ann Laughlin’s
love for horticulture started with a visit to the Philadelphia Flower
Show with her Grandmother when she was a child. Initially, her
interest focused on horticulture and gardening as a hobby that
eventually changed. Ann began volunteering at Longwood Gardens and
soon decided to pursue horticulture full time. Ann obtained a Bachelor
of Science in Horticulture, Summa Cum Laude,
from Temple University. She also received several awards upon
graduation for distinguishing herself through academic achievement,
leadership, and commitment to campus programs. Ann was President
of the Honor Society in Horticulture, Pi Alpha Xi, Temple University
Chapter and is a member.
